Therapists who have been here before.
I've been a practicing Physical Therapist for over a decade and have Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado. I still work regularly at one of the top in-patient rehabilitation hospitals in the state, where we spend most of our time with patients recovering from stroke and other traumatic brain injuries. When I'm not at the hospital I'm raising my two children alongside my husband, Aspen hunting in the mountains, or enjoying a coffee with friends at the neighborhood coffee shop.I love working with my patients in the hospital setting, but I always wish I had more time to give to their family members and loved ones. Help After Stroke is a way for me to share what I've learned over the past decade and encourage those who are continuing to do the work of caring for those who need it most.
